Visibility of the Church

One Church.
One City.
One Welcome.

The Games are a chance for Glasgow's Christian community to show its unity and its heart. For too long, churches can feel hidden — known only to those who attend on Sundays. But the Commonwealth Games are a stage for us to be seen, not for self-promotion, but to demonstrate what the body of Christ looks like when it acts together.

Why We Serve

What Visibility Means

Visibility is about more than being seen — it's about being present with purpose. During the Games, the Church in Glasgow has a unique opportunity to step into public spaces with unity, joy, and compassion.

Together, we show a watching world what it looks like when the body of Christ moves as one — not to promote ourselves, but to reflect God's love through witness, worship, and welcome.

The Impact of Visibility

When the Church is Visible

When the Church is visible, it challenges assumptions. It shows we are united, active, and invested in the heart of Glasgow. Visibility sparks curiosity, invites conversations, and creates space for people to encounter God.

Imagine Glasgow City Centre not just filled with fans, but with worship, prayer, and joy — a glimpse of something greater. That's our vision.

"Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."— Matthew 5:16
